Insight

Talk Test Treat, the HIV prevention, testing, and treatment program in Central Florida, devised a plan to translate the availability of their services to a wider audience, including the Haitian Creole-speaking community. Understanding the importance of inclusivity and culturally sensitive communication, they partnered with Dorsainvil Creative, a cultural marketing and branding agency in Orlando, to develop a strategic minority media campaign. In addition to promoting their services, Talk Test Treat also focused on providing Haitian Creole translation services to ensure that the information reaches a diverse audience who primarily speak this language.

Dorsainvil Creative proposed a health communications partnership with a podcast led by women of Haitian descent, "This is Not That Podcast" and Haitians Who Blog, the online hub had a significant interactions with the Central Florida Haitian community with over 45,000 followers, By merging the podcasts co-hosts background in sexual wellness and the organic reach of the lifestyle brand, this garnered over 275,000 reach across social media and sound recording industries. Dorsainvil Creative recognized the importance of engaging with influencers to increase the reach of Talk Test Treat's vital message. To prioritize accessibility, the Orlando marketing agency recommended incorporating Haitian Creole translation services and captioning to ensure accessibility for the Haitian Creole-speaking community.
