User Generated Content Creating awareness of health information

The Florida Department of Health (FDOH) is committed to reducing HIV transmission and improving sexual health education across Florida. With a focus on underserved communities, including Haitian Americans,  through Talk Test Treat who sought innovative ways to engage and educate about HIV prevention, testing, and treatment.

To support this mission, we partnered with FDOH to create a culturally relevant campaign that combined influencer marketing with a limited audio and video series. How we did it involved producing engaging content that highlighted sexual health education, HIV prevention strategies like PrEP, and reducing stigma around testing. To ensure accessibility and cultural resonance, we provided Haitian Creole translation and developed a targeted strategy to amplify the messaging within Haitian American communities.

Resulting in an impactful campaign, the series reached over 1.5 million social media users across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and TikTok. Additionally, the audio component garnered 10,000 listeners, sparking meaningful conversations about sexual health and HIV prevention. This campaign successfully aligned with FDOH’s mission to end the HIV epidemic in Florida while fostering trust and engagement within the Haitian American community.
