Her clinical training and interests include trauma, anxiety, women’s wellness, and marriage and family therapy. She is a descendant of Haitian immigrants and speaks Haitian Creole fluently. She is a woman of faith, serving in various capacities within ministry.

Our client, a passionate mental health advocate, approached us with a vision to create a platform that would empower Black women of Caribbean and African descent to embrace a holistic approach to their well-being. The challenge was to develop a comprehensive business plan and marketing strategy that would seamlessly integrate faith, mental health, and culture while addressing the unique challenges faced by this community

Our Approach
We developed a multi-faceted strategy that included
Created a user-friendly website and mobile app tailored to the needs of Black women3
Incorporated features for community building, resource sharing, and appointment scheduling4
Developed culturally sensitive and relevant content addressing topics such as:
Overcoming stereotypes and resistance fatigue
Navigating work-life balance
Addressing postpartum mental health
Exploring the intersection of faith and mental wellness2
Established partnerships with licensed Black female mental health professionals specializing in culturally competent care2
Created a vetting process to ensure all professionals understood the unique challenges faced by the target audience
Designed virtual support groups and workshops led by mental health experts2
Implemented a book club focused on Black authors and mental health topics1
Integrated faith-based resources and spiritual guidance
Incorporated traditional healing practices and cultural wisdom
Provided tools for physical health, nutrition, and stress management
